With all the different sizes, variety and terminology surrounding rolling papers; sometimes it can get confusing. Although exact sizing, down to the millimeter, may vary between manufacturers, generally they are all within a certain range. Differences in rolling paper size essentially comes down to length and width. Rolling papers generally come in 6 different sizes:
Generally you will want to match the paper with the size joint you are rolling and minimize any unnecessary paper smoking, cause let’s be real, all that paper is going straight to your lungs and that’s not what we’re trying to smoke right? In some cases, people find certain sized papers easier to roll with, depending on the size of their hands and fingers.
As the name implies regular size or single wide rolling papers are the most commonly used and available size. The exact sheet size varies between manufacturers but these papers are generally between 68-70mm in length and 34-36mm in width. Single wide rolling papers are also commonly used to make L joints. For regular size rolling papers you would use a 70mm rolling machine.

One and a quarters (1 ¼) are usually between 76-78mm long and 45-48mm wide. One and a quarter rolling papers are the next most popular after regular sized ones. They are slightly longer and usually around the same width as regular rolling papers. You’ll get about 25% more product in a one and a quarter vs a regular sized paper. The appropriate sized rolling machine to use with these papers is a 79mm rolling machine.
King Size rolling papers are the largest regularly available size of rolling papers. Generally King Size rolling papers are between 100 and 105mm long and 55-60mm wide. King size rolling papers hold about double the amount of herb as a regular rolling paper. It is larger in both length and width compared to all other size rolling papers.
King Size Slim rolling papers have the length of king size papers with, as the name suggests, a slightly slimmer width. Although it varies slightly by manufacturer, King Size Slim rolling papers are between 100 and 110mm long and 44 and 50mm wide.
